Assistant Manager Digital Analytics
- General Purpose
With the fast-changing analytics landscape, this position will be responsible for ensuring that the Market Europe is at the forefront of analytics innovation. The analytics team is at the center of complex questions and business insights that need to be answered. As an Assistant Manager Digital Analytics, you are part of the team that analyses paid media performance to inform decision making by the eCommerce management team in collaboration with Media Activation and agency stakeholders. Using data from the adidas paid media ecosystem, you contribute to the generation of insights that help adidas better understand existing opportunities and give guidance on how we can increase impact of our media investments to ultimately drive return on ad spend. This position will require a basic understanding of paid media concepts in driving, managing and enabling data driven business decisions with stakeholders.
You will be someone that is constantly curious, always asking the right questions whilst at the same time having a passion for data. But most importantly as a team we believe in collaboration and high-energy. No role in the team is more important than another. Finally, you are somebody who aims for consumer satisfaction & who is ready to experiment, test and measure day in day out. The main topics you will be involved in are marketing channel optimization, cross-channel attribution, Revenue & media budget planning, Test & Learn, and other paid media insights.

- Analytics
In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to dive deep into the adidas paid media ecosystem in order to gather insights on media performance to help fuel marketing and sales strategies and be able to present results to the rest of the organization.
- Create solutions and insights for ad hoc and recurring requests using SQL, Alteryx, adobe Analytics, and Microstrategy.
- Support Finance & Analytics teams as part of the eCom planning workstream to ensure complete alignment among business processes related to sales and marketing budgets.
- Interpret test results within different marketing channels to drive continuous optimization.
- Translate business requirements into analytical needs and vice versa.
- Consulting
- Collaborate with Performance Marketing teams as well as agency stakeholders to identify opportunities within Paid Media for commercial campaigns as well as BAU activity.
- Translate gathered insights into engaging, actionable and easy to digest insights presentations including visualization.
- Build trust with stakeholders in your scope of responsibility to facilitate actionability of insights.
- Help establish a fact-based culture in the organization by continuously improving data driven decision processes.
- Reporting
- Be part of defining and developing the reporting infrastructure for Paid Media Analytics.
- Own reporting of media performance towards senior management in Europe eCom.
- Develop self-service analytics solutions and ensure continuous improvement & relevance through stakeholder feedback.
- Contribute to the development of best practice guidance for markets and other adidas stakeholders to maximize the use of analytics capabilities.

- Build an internal network to increase knowledge of the digital ecosystem, and digital analytics in particular.
- Challenge your stakeholders and the rest of the analytics team to adopt the latest available tools & insights for optimal decision making.

- Requirements
- Education & Professional Experience
- University degree in the field of Business or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in Digital Analytics
- Experience with digital marketing in a brand environment
- Experience in eCommerce environment
- Soft-Skills
- A passion for delivering data-based recommendations for quantifiable improvements in business results and consumer satisfaction.
- Good communication skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
- Good presentation skills and story-telling
- Hard-Skills
- Basic Experience with analytics tools and disciplines (web, eCom, social, mobile, paid media, SEO, SEM, CRM, etc.).
- Basic Experience with ETL tools and automation techniques is a must: e.g. Alteryx
- Basic Experience with web and marketing analytics tools is a must: e.g. adobe Analytics, GA
- Basic Experience with visualization techniques and data analysis tool(s) e.g. Tableau, Microstrategy Dossier
- Solid project management skills, including the ability to work on several projects simultaneously
- Proficient in MS Office
- Fluent English both verbally and written
- Previous experience in working with SQL is a plus
- Previous experience with tools such as sprinklr, Talkwalker, amplitude, appsflyer, SA360, DV360, Facebook Business Manager is a plus
