The Foot Locker family of brands in EMEA is looking for an individual who can lead our digital marketing and media efforts, across paid social media, CRM, programmatic advertising, affiliate marketing and search engine advertising. This person is expected to create, maintain and protect an elevated digital expression of our brands in Europe. This role will work closely with our creative team, product vendors, internal merchant team, media agencies and our U.S. partners to create and calendarize campaign strategies to achieve sales objectives. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, a strong communicator with experience in retail and a strong passion for digital content strategy, planning and media optimization. This person needs to be able to architect, document and roll-out new processes to improve the way we operate our digital business. The individual needs to be fearless about working through individuals to accomplish their goals. They should also provide a data-driven, analytical approach for decision making. A love for sneakers is also a plus!
- Collaborate with local Business team to drive Foot Locker Europe and Sidestep digital marketing initiatives for multiple countries, including paid social, search marketing, email marketing, display advertising and affiliate marketing
- Manage a team of 8 individuals across the digital channels
- Primary point of contact to the Business team; provide business recommendations in fast paced environment
- Partner with agencies and media platforms to create and optimize our paid media programs
- Establish effective benchmarks for measurement of paid social media efforts, as well as cross-channel efforts (i.e. display, email, SEM, etc.). Define best practices for analytics and ensure consistent, ongoing benchmarking and analysis of performance including data-driven recommendations to improve future success
- Manage multiple budgets and supervise digital media integration into broader brand traffic/sales initiatives
- Develop, architect, socialize and implement new processes to improve the way we operate our digital business
- Make recommendations and be fully versed on emerging platforms, features, Beta opportunities, etc.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of current and emerging trends in digital marketing, paid social media, technology, sneaker culture, fashion and eCommerce
- Work with digital marketing tools, i.e. Adobe Suite (including Adobe Analytics, AEM, Tag manager, etc.) Sprinklr (or similar), Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads/Analytics, etc.


- Passion for digital marketing, paid social media, technology and the online space with strong working knowledge
- Ability to communicate with Foot Locker's core demographic in an authentic manner
- Ability to work in a dynamic and evolving team environment, utilizing interpersonal skills to manage relationships and collaborate across many different business functions
- You are an influencer who can present data/facts to gain buy-in
- Ability to manage work flow from multiple teams to ensure deadlines are met
- Strong project management, analytical and organizational skills
- Strong business acumen and the ability to set KPI's and analyze raw data into meaningful and actionable insights
- Ability to lead and develop direct reports, as well as lead cross functional teams to collaborate toward common digital marketing goals
- A university degree in business, marketing, communication or equivalent
- A minimum 7+ years of experience in digital marketing and media, experience in digital retail management is a plus
- Experience in developing business or marketing plans and working in a cross functional team environment
- A strong understanding of digital retail with brick + mortar retail a plus
- Experience in a matrixed organization is a plus
