Overview

The District Manager is a field leadership role with oversight of all aspects of sales, operations and merchandising with a geographic span of stores. This position will have approximately 29 Store Manager direct reports and a number of indirect reports at the store level.

Responsible for fostering a high-performance culture of diverse and quality associates with a focus on customer experience and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Drive Core Business

  • Deliver sales, wage hours and shrink plan for their assigned brands.
Grow Strategic Imperatives

  • Implement the operational strategy focused on the evolution of the in store experience that is channel-less and seamless to the customer.
  • Drive change management, synergy, productivity and harmonization of processes across assigned district.
  • Lead C.A.M. initiative to elevate customer experience.
Build Capability

  • Build a powerful and diverse district team that delivers exceptional revenue and profit results
Drives Customer Experience

  • Create an environment driving and industry leading customer experience
  • Elevates selling behaviors to influence top line growth and repeat business
  • Uses all product channels to meet customer needs

  • Influences others to execute organizational initiatives with accuracy and speed.

  • Identifies opportunities to elevate store effectiveness based on KPI trends
  • Enlists Store Managers' insights to determine causes and opportunities in KPIs
  • Seeks actionable solutions and quickly takes action to fulfill district's growth potential

  • Creates a presence, gaining critical marketplace insights that impact business.

Qualifications
  • Proficient in Dutch and English

  • Excellent commercial sense and financial acumen.

  • Ability to think long-term and translate strategies into actionable plans and tactics.

  • A strong manager, leader and team motivator, able to build collaborative and cohesive teams.

  • Commitment to training and development as the platform for future growth.

  • A change manager, not satisfied with status quo

  • Good communication skills, able to effectively lead, manage and communicate with store management personnel, as well as partnering with corporate functions, as appropriate.
