As the Activity Apps Platform Manager in EMEA, you will be responsible for growing Nike's sport apps (Nike Training Club and Nike Run Club) to help Nike's members make sport and wellness a habit during this time. Nike's mission is to bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete* in the world, and the sport apps are our pinnacle digital platforms that help our members make sport and wellness a habit.
In this role, you will drive critical projects with cross-functional partners across marketing, analytics, e-commerce and digital product across the geography and global teams. Your primary responsibility will be to grow and retain our app users, driving test & learn pilots and cross-functional growth initiatives to ultimately accelerate our retention and growth targets. You will be part of the team that is leading digital transformation at Nike, bringing a ruthless consumer-centricity and data-centricity to everything we do.
- Bring the Nike Direct strategic objectives to life through engagement growth and retention
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that support the NTC/NRC growth targets and ladder up to our vision of becoming the best weekly habit formation platforms for sport and health in EMEA
- Bring cross-functional partners together to drive a truly data-centric offense delivering measurable results
- Interpret data, identify key market developments and customer insights, prepare analysis to support digital product roadmaps and decisions
- Promote and lead test-and-learn initiatives to push our thinking in driving effective app retention and meaningful engagement with Nike members
- Partner & concept new ways to connect NTC/NRC to relevant sport, brand, and retail moments
- Continuously seek out ways to improve processes and capabilities that empower the NTC/NRC team and platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement the EMEA NTC/NRC 3-year strategic plan and operating plan
- Set quarterly and annual growth targets and KPI's for NTC/NRC to define what success looks like
- Define and implement the test & learn agenda quarterly to maximize learnings
- Drive actionable member learnings and insights in partnership with analytics teams, informing business priorities and focus areas
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across EMEA and Global functions to identify new opportunities in the digital wellness and sport space, and to discover and define how NTC and NRC can be key levers for key brand and member growth
- Operationalize the NTC/NRC retention offense, coordinating the working model across teams to run the business and leading cross-functional business meetings
- Be a key partner in defining value drop timelines and prioritization for digital product. Communicating experience tradeoffs and providing subject matter expertise, when vital.
- Lead go-to-market strategies for new experiences and capabilities delivered in NTC and NRC
- Partner to build out reporting and critical metric performance for NTC/NRC business needs in EMEA and own leadership updates on a monthly and quarterly basis

- App data & analytics expertise; digital test & learn piloting expertise; experience with consumer engagement platforms
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in B2C digital (app) platforms, digital analytics/digital products/consultancy in preferably wellness categories
- Digital experience on platform ecosystems. Experience with digital product technology, platforms, program management tools, analytical dashboards, product roadmaps
- Advanced Excel skills is required
- Knowledge and experience with SQL is an asset
- Understanding of digital & store KPIs, ability to translate data into insights and business actions.
- Leadership skills with ability to influence key stakeholders
- Proven experience presenting strategic projects to large audiences and gaining buy-in
- Strong affinity to create, build and deliver strategic plans, drawing from the larger organizational direction and ability to translate that to a plan for this business
- Experience testing and learning to drive new initiatives with proven results in shifting future plans
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and making persuasive presentations to senior management
- Strong ability to cultivate effective collaboration, drive clarity, and instill trust with teammates
