At Nike, the EMEA Supply Chain Operations (Marketplace Operations (MPO)) team takes pride in serving the consumer in the connected marketplace - whether they shop at one of our retail partners, in a Nike store or online. We are relentlessly elevating our strategy and driving improvement in our supply chain operations to reach a more premium service level for our consumer.
As a Marketplace Operations Lead (MOL) you always start with the consumer in mind. You maximize service, growth and profitability to meet the financial and operational targets of your MPU ( Multiple Process Unit), while delivering on Nike's strategy. You have a deep understanding of business operations and are accountable for consumer/ athlete/ customer satisfaction, operational reliability, and maximizing inventory productivity by effective order and contract management. You utilize diagnostic and predictive analytics to make smart business decisions. You keep your stakeholders informed of risks and opportunities, and partner with your MPU ( Multiple Process Unit) and One Ops to find optimal supply chain and commercial solutions. You engage in key projects evolving existing business capabilities using agile principles.
- Obsess consumer/ athlete/ customer satisfaction, and improve key drivers behind it
- Lead and be responsible for order planning to order delivery in line with business demand and service expectations
- Deliver superior customer service through quick issues resolution and proactive management of supply chain issues.
- Operationally execute retail peaks, store openings, special product initiatives & launches
- Monitor, leverage and improve Hero MPO KPI`s by utilizing descriptive and predictive analytics and collaborating within One Ops and MPU.
- Support ship goal setting process and partner closely with ELC to proactively manage issues.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive their enhancement through agile and lean principles. Participate in functional capability building initiatives
- Ensure most optimal flow of product and effective order management pre-season, in-seasonal and post-season in close collaboration with DSM and SE.
- Manage carrier performance issues in partnership with transportation team
- Represent Operations in MPU, creating transparency on service and delivery and ensuring a balanced marketplace and profitable growth.
- Proactively process the orderbook in alignment with accounts, distribution and carrier teams.
- Tackle day-to-day orderbook inquiries & raising issues as required: order status and tracking information, working with internal partners to resolve moderately complex supply chain issues, such as product availability, pricing, delivery status, routing, rejections, holds
- Monitor, use and improve meaningful metrics to maximize service and support business decisions in close collaboration with partners
- Work with complex data-sets to drive decisions and initiate continuous process improvements

- Strong passion for supply chain and retail/consumer goods and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a supply chain, planning, logistics, or back of house role management role for a Retail or Consumer Goods business
- Advance level of English
- Knowledge of Supply Chain and basic financial and order management principles
- Strong digital skills: MS office, advanced Excel, SAP and Cognos if desirable
