The EMEA Ethics & Compliance Manager, GoAL and Operations will be responsible to support NIKE's efforts to effective compliance with specific laws and regulations in EMEA around various topics covered by NIKE's code of ethics (Inside The Lines) and other corporate policies.
In your role you will support NIKE's Ethics & Compliance program in the EMEA region enabling NIKE, Inc. to protect its Brand, adhere to and meet its regulatory obligations and the essential legal requirements as it strives to grow in the region.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support local business operations' compliance with local EMEA regulatory regimes regarding anti-bribery and fraud
- Support various regional and global Compliance initiatives and implementation projects, e.g. Speak Up Portal, learning initiatives etc
- Support risk assessment activities in consultation with Ethics & Compliance Controlling team members
- Issues and inquiries management with regulators, local authorities, regional customers
- Train, aid and advise local teams on Ethics and Compliance requirements in EMEA region
- Educate, aid and advise business and other teams on Nike, Inc.'s Inside The Lines code of conduct and other key corporate policies
- Help review internal Nike policies via regional lens, including translation checks and localization projects
- Review pre-approvals re. Global policy requirements, e.g. in relation to Conflict of Interest disclosures
- Collaborate with Procurement function at EHQ and in countries (e.g. Russia) on strategic initiatives regarding vendor compliance projects
- Support Compliance initiatives linked to Logistics, distribution and support functions
- Manage outside counsel relations
- Review and localize training materials for trainings of teams in region
- Work with x-functional teams on furthering automated solutions for compliance processes and approval processes (e.g. HR and WD&C tools and processes)

Profiel

Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master degree
- At least 4-6 years' experience in and demonstrable expertise in international compliance laws and regulatory practices, investigations and litigations, covering a variety of countries in Europe in corporate and/or private practice setting with emphasis on following specialty areas: dispute resolution, litigation, administrative proceedings, compliance issues
- Fluent in spoken and written English. Additional languages desirable.
- Experience in assisting with developing company compliance strategies
- Strong influencing skills
- High degree & demonstrable collaborative capacity
- Cross cultural work experience:
- Experienced and comfortable with in-person presentations/trainings to audiences at all levels
- Experience and/or training in cross-cultural communications
- Informative and persuasive in routine and ad hoc communications
- Experience in (internal) stakeholder management and networking
- Project management experience
- Proficient with standard desktop tools including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Slack, Airtable, Cisco, Box
