An important HR pillar for the coming years, is to optimize our HR operations 'machine' and ensure a state-of-the-art employee experience, both 'in real life' as well as digitally.

The next step for Rituals will therefore be, to build a scalable global HR Operations & Services team, centrally led from Amsterdam. The new position we have created, will play a leading role in the global HR transformation to develop a central HR Operations Service model to ensure continuity, efficiency, and scalability.


You ensure the strategy, the management and continuous improvement of our global core HR operations processes that support the employee life cycle, HR systems and key priorities globally resulting in a one-time right administration, systems, data and therefore a perfect employee experience.

For 40 hours per week, you give new meaning to the words 'aim big, act small' in a fast growing retail environment and you will:

  • Develop and implement the future global operations strategy together with the (global) HR Operations & Services and the central HR digital/systems team
  • Lead global HR transformation and day to day operations processes & systems, optimize end to end processes, and ensure one way of working to align with the Rituals strategy
  • Ensure alignment and smooth cooperation with global payroll operations (migration to ADP Global View) and local compliance with legislation
  • Partner with global / regional HR Operations teams as well as with our Business Technology, Accounting, Payroll and Business Control teams to align systems and reporting
  • Establish key operational metrics and reporting tools and partner with the Global HR Director and Country HR managers to develop an HR Services dashboard and performance metrics
  • Develop and implement project plans (such as HR service delivery/HR processes)
  • Integrate HR digital developments, service, advise & operations into HR operations also to align the Digital Employee journey with the physical employee journey
  • Analyze HR service effectiveness, deliver workforce insights and analytics & structural reporting
  • Lead the (global) HR Operations & Services Team including our central HR digital /systems team
  • You are part of the HR MT and you report directly into the Global HR Director

You're a social team player, adjusting naturally to changing situations and looking for opportunities to collaborate where possible. On top of it:

  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited university or equivalent experience
  • Broad, in depth experience within the HR Services and HR digital fields
  • Demonstrated capability to deliver large and/or complex HR digital projects as well as Operations and HR service deliveries
  • Fast growing retail environment is for you close to your heart, you are a frontline thinker
  • You have at least 10-15 years' experience; whereby you show transformation/HR service delivery model is your area of expertise
  • People management of large team (> 25 employees)
  • Knowledge of GDPR, HR Governance, Legislation
  • A strong and compelling point of view around Digital HR transformation and Employee centered HR
  • You are an analytical & strategic thinker, innovative, bold, and not scared of challenging the status quo yet humble and service minded when needed.
