As Nike accelerates and operationalizes its One Technology Roadmap; to succeed, there is a need for a team and structure that will be responsible for building high-quality enterprise products and platforms at scale. Technical Product Management will play an integral part of the Global Technology team as we move into a technology-led strategy for Nike, with the Domain Technology Product Manager being a crucial component of that team. This function has a deep understanding of how to bring the best of Global Tech together, including a deep understanding of how to leverage platform capabilities.

In summary, the Lead TPM is accountable to Product vision and fast delivery to business demand. Responsible for Product Vision, Functional Design, Product Adoption and Productivity. Ensure voice of the customer is heard and drives user satisfaction and application life-cycle.
Strong Lead Technical Product Manager who has owned foundational data platforms and solutions, with experience working in an agile environment, whose focus will be to deliver the right solution to customers with the highest quality, business value and shortest lead time. In partnership with Business Stakeholders, Customers/users, Architects and Engineering teams, you will create the Product vision and be responsible for the strategy and roadmap execution of a medium to high complexity product platform. You are able to make things smaller, not bigger and can apply a design thinking approach to your work. You will take ownership of upcoming business and technology changes that affects your product and you understand technical product life cycle management, scalability, sustainability and user adoption.
You possess a strong learning mindset, collaborative and co-creation approach and strong leadership and communication skills across multiple level of stakeholders and technology peers in the EMEA, other Geographies and Global Nike enterprise. You break down the problems before proposing solutions and enhancements and are accountable for execution, roadblocks removal, measurement of outcomes and continuous improvement. Seen in the organization as possessing authoritative expertise in the discipline of product management, end to end. Possesses keen business and technology insight, able to identify and quantify business value not obvious to others and conduct compelling benefit and ROI mindset. Maintains an in-depth understanding of emerging trends and competitor strategies across multiple industries and the technology industry. Possesses a thorough understanding of adjacent Nike products and services can find your ways within cross-functional organizations, ensuring the right business and technology solution is applied to achieve the expected outcome. Equally comfortable driving a complex discovery as the delivery of a solution.
You have proven experience driving Platform as a Service initiatives, that enable the business to have the agility, a fast time-to-market and cost-effectivenes they need to be successful, by having owned an ecosystem of composable platforms. You know what it takes to drive a roadmap that will accelerate other roadmaps.
You will work on our enabling Platforms as a service. You own a mid to high complex technical data platform and its product vision, functional & solution design, functionality definition, product health and adoption, integration with upstream and downstream systems and performance towards end users and other integrated products. Data as a product is no stranger to you, with all its elements of complexity and governance. You will be accountable for the product outcome and business value delivered. You will work with Business and Technology partners (TPM Directors, Solution Architects and Engineering) to align your Product Vision and Roadmap, contributing to required architecture runway that supports your platform.
In collaboration with business and technology partners you set expectations to leadership teams, subject matter experts and end-users. You will break down product functional design into executable parts (features) to define product backlog, coordinate prioritization, trade-offs conversations, execution and achievement of targeted value drop timelines. To achieve that you ensure understanding current and future customer needs, acceptance and success criteria, validate solutions, remove roadblocks and evaluate customer satisfaction on a continuous basis.
You will ensure Technology teams have the full context and understanding of customers and business end-to-end environment and technical environment to create valuable solutions. Provide oversight of product strategy, input into resourcing needs, technical and transition management aspects, assessing business impact of different solutions and the trade-offs been customer needs, technology requirements and costs. Collaborate with Release Management capabilities to determine the optimum release strategy and optimal delivery to customers. Define, track, measure, analyze and communicate customer adoption, performance, time to market, quality and other KPIs/ OKRS and metrics to ensure product is healthy and right decision for product life cycle based on data and user behavior insights.
You will be part of the Nike EMEA Technical Product Management team which provides an opportunity to grow within the team. The Lead TPM will spend most of most time with Business partners and leadership, SME and end-user levels to define how technology products support business needs and collaborate with other Technology organization and roles to bring products to life to fulfill such current and future needs. You will partner directly with multiple technology functions as TPM Directors, other Lead and Senior TPM colleagues, Architects, UX Designers, Engineering teams and potential external account technology teams to design the optimal solution for your product. Other areas in Technology such as Program Management, Information Security, Infra-structure and the Data & Analytics organization will support / influence your product design, roadmap and execution process. You will report into the Director Technical Product Management of your area and will have work in collaboration with other Lead TPMs in EMEA, other Geos and Global to ensure aligned product vision and roadmaps. You should be skilled in product management, analytics, a structured and data-driven thinker, and excellent interpersonal skills. Not afraid to challenge the status quo in a constructive manner. Experience designing creative, quality technical products and enabling business capabilities and objectives through technology will be critical. You should be comfortable conducting user research, usability testing, rapid prototyping, and analytics. Additionally, you should be a skilled communicator with experience forming alliances and bringing together multiple stakeholders to execute on a common mission.
We need individuals with an advanced understanding and skills to solve complex problems thru designing of new technical products or enhancements existing products, bringing new perspectives and opportunities. Excellent influencing and communication skills towards business and technology leaders and peers thru in personal and remote work with the ability to present and tailor the message to the relevant audience to achieve fast and desired outcome. Strong learning mindset and proficient in work with Agile environment, principles and methodologies and how they're applied in a practical manner in workplace culture.
Minimum 10 years relevant work experience with Bachelor's degree. Experience working with Agile teams, presential or remote, with experience working with Application Lifecycle Management, applying Design Thinking and using collaboration and agile tools like Jira / Aha! / Lucid Chart / Confluence or similar. Previous experience in directly or in-direct managing teams ensuring trust & respect, diversity, openness, effective teamwork & accountability and innovation are always in top of mind and practiced.
