With this newly created role within the eCommerce Team, SIDESTEP - is seeking an analytical, performance-oriented eCommerce professional to help drive our digital expansion strategy. Reporting to the Senior Manager, eCommerce & Digital Marketing and closely collaborating with the Digital Merchandizer, the eCommerce Manager will partner with cross-functional teams to manage and coordinate all aspects of the eCommerce business, including commercial planning, site content and merchandising, digital calendar & campaign efforts, business analyses and technological development.



The position is well suited for an accomplished digital native who can successfully navigate in a matrix organization and work with a large group of external and internal stakeholders, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can successfully manage projects A-Z.

Responsibilities
In this position you will support the eCommerce operations for SIDESTEP Europe:

  • Commercial planning & trading: Align product and branding strategy with digital initiatives to grow online commerce and capabilities. Identify commercial opportunities and present to various business functions with recommendations based on data. Analyze online shopping behavior, identify consumer pain points, manage conversion optimization, and site performance.

  • Digital calendar & campaigns: Own the holistic digital calendar, ensure balanced commercial and brand representation online. Brief the digital merchandizer and content teams to create and deliver ecommerce promotional, seasonal, and evergreen content on the site. This includes the creation of assets; priority product focus and site roll out. Ensure brand consistency and presence on all digital properties.

  • Customer journey: Optimize digital customer journey across homepage, product categories and product description pages, Guided selling tools. Collaborate and provide direction on site merchandising with the support of online Merchandising function and Planning teams.

  • Digital roadmap: Manage the Digital roadmap, identifying future development needs. Stay on top of latest industry trends. Work with cross-functional teams to drive prioritized initiatives from strategy creation through implementation

  • Analysis & reporting: Leverage BI analytics to find new opportunities. Analyze data to understand eCommerce and digital campaign performance. Make suggestions to improve conversion rates and site engagement.

  • Monitor the site daily: Ensure Quality Assurance for product, content, and website functions. Work closely with Site Operations to resolve any site issues.

Profiel

Qualifications
4-5 years eCommerce, digital marketing, or related field experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or marketing.

  • A digital native with a trade mindset and a passion for driving business growth

  • Ability to prioritize and deliver projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong project-management skills, ability to manage projects from planning to implementation while collaborating with various teams.

  • A continuous-learner mindset with a strong understanding of the evolving digital landscape as it relates to digital media, website engagement, and analytics.

  • Enthusiastic, motivated, innovative, creative team player, ability to work cross functionally.

  • Hands on experience using data from digital and site analytics tools such as Adobe or Google Analytics.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication, organization, self-starter, and analytical experience.

  • Understanding of retail industry, including merchandising, marketing, and IT.
