ROLE AND DEPARTMENT

A great opportunity to work within the Consumer Beauty Finance team as (Global) Brand France Senior Manager. You will be working closely with Global Marketing with focus on innovation, influencing Brand Strategy & Performance and controlling global Marketing budget. Within this role you will be reporting to the Brand Finance Director.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Co-pilot with Global Marketing leadership in driving choices and building long-term strategies, while overseeing the innovation portfolio value for each respective category.
• Ensure innovation financials adhere to the wider organization's goals and predetermined financial criteria. Identify optimization opportunities of current models and sources for future growth.
• Represent Finance in the monthly initiative management alignment process with cross-functional teams, and ensure mitigation plans are in place for all financial risks.
• Support ad hoc requests of Global Marketing teams, including financial modelling.
• Own financial forecast submissions for A&CP (P&L & BS), working with key stakeholders and senior leaders to build a realistic plan and drives improvement of ROI
• Manage the month end close, including journal entry approvals, balance sheet review, and reporting & analytics provided to various levels of the organization.
• Provide an analytical study and explanation of quarterly Brand results to CFO and senior leaders
• Support and drive implementation of simplification and standardization

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Experience in Financial Analysis and Reporting

• Experience in Financial Forecasting and deviation analyses incl. business interpretation
• Ideally 5+ yrs exposure within a Global finance role
• Very good understanding of P&L and Balance Sheet under U.S. GAAP
• Full understanding of month-close process and how it impacts P&L and B/S
• Experienced in working in a multi-functional environment
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree
• Profound Excel skills and systems experience (SAP, Hyperion and PowerBI)
• Self-starter, proactive, solution-oriented and has own it, drive in mentality
• Good interpersonal collaboration skills and ability to think creatively
• High standard of accuracy and precision; highly organized; good operational discipline
• Excellent analytical skills and able to sort through complex and massive data, incl. their interpretation
• Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of hierarchy with multifunctional partners
