WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A Merchandise Financial Planner (MFP) to join the Connected Marketplace MFP team to:
- Define and manage Key Pureplayer merch financial plans in line with marketplace right capacity
- Follow CM strategy and GEO/CENTRAL MFP direction
- Ensure consumer demand for our Nike product is met and a pull market is maintained
The candidate will need to be able to work collaboratively and influence internal and external partners through consumer led data-based recommendations, with strong analytical skills who can communicate effectively in a variety of setting.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Driving planning strategy and develop robust seasonal demand forecasts and long-range plans for Key Pure Players
If this is you, you'll:
- Join MFP conversation with central MFP and other marketplace teams to drive right consumer demand plans.
- Define and manage the merch financial plan in line with market place capacity and strategy
- Influence and align the budgeting, business planning & forecasting processes
- Support key seasonal brand & product stories at retail through aligned planning
- Actively participate in the development and deployment of multi-year strategy.
- Advocate Strategy across all genders - sharing plans with relevant stakeholders across Nike EMEA consumer code gates
- Monitor business performance and deliver results vs. targeted objectives to drive sales, product margin and turnover by store, gender, segments & dimensions
- Communicate results and variances to targeted expectations to key stakeholders
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will work closely with your MFP counter parts to ensure plans and directions are aligned Long Term, pre-season and in-season. You will also work closely with the assortment planning teams to support and guide them to take the right decision keeping the consumer at the center of the strategy.

Profiel

WHAT YOU BRING
- 3+ years of experience in Demand and/or Retail Merchandising/Planning areas
- With a consistent track record, strong consumer demand, retail math's, financial planning, inventory planning and reporting skills
- Demonstrate a very good understanding of Omnichannel Retail and coordinated market place planning strategy, as well as a confirmed understanding of process-flow through end-to-end supply chains
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage efficiently with a broad range of audiences including senior business leaders, other senior planning leaders, and highly technical talents
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- A strategic outlook and shown experience leading projects and cross-functional teams, with a track record of overcoming obstacles and challenges to meet business expectations
- A self-starter mentality and be eager to drive and own end to end communication with results driven, forward thinking and proficient information seeking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to network, utilize internal and external resources, deliver commitments, and to meet timelines
- Excellent knowledge of automated planning systems, MS Windows applications, particularly Excel
