As Demand and Supply Management (DSM), we serve the Nike planning function combining insights and analytics to sense and craft how much product consumers will want, where and when they'll want it. This offense combines work in the Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP) and Assortment Planning sub functions to support a more detailed and flexible approach to serve consumers and drive inventory efficiency for NIKE and our partners.
We're looking for a x-gender (apparel/ equipment) football-focused Senior MFP to join EHQ!
This role supports the E2E planning director for global FTBL and is part of the men's performance assortment planning team, working closely with Men's /Women's /Kids' Consumer MFP's, with a counterpart in Lifestyle to support as well as the football partnerships team.total Men's business. This role performs the GEO MFP process together with MPU's and the MCP (Marketplace Capacity Planning) team to develop the FTBL merch financial plan across all genders. It will also develop, plan, communicate and track the consumer (franchise) allocations.
- Perform the MFP process steps & analysis for an efficient consumer merch financial plan
- Define & lead the M/W/K FTBL consumer merch financial plans in line with marketplace capacity and the gender consumer teams' strategy
- Margin planning: support the strategic work on bringing margin dimension into the consumer MFP process. Create margin-informed central guardrails to add into consumer target setting process.
- X-gender target setting in collaboration with central MFP's and gender teams
- Manage the tournament planning including target setting
- Drive target alignment with MPU teams. (including Clubs and Feds)
- Analyze demand information, product, market & platform performance and collaborate with key x-functional stakeholders to deliver an actionable plan and perspective on consumer distribution strategy/segmentation and EMEA consumer/MPU plans
- Oversee the longe range plan management (3 year innovation planning)
- Define and lead R&O as a result of the assortment plan and merch financial plan
- Ensure proper higher level execution of plans within FTBL planning-given segmentation (X-MPU, consumer order book reconciliation)
- Own the consumer jersey's allocation plan by MPU in alignment with merchandising, football partnerships team (clubs and feds) and consumer teams' strategy.
- Facilitate football react processes including ownership of account prioritization
- Lead the FTBL squad seasonal. Ensure proper execution to the allocation plan
- Manage the overall FTBL seasonal strategy alignment/communication with gender teams
- Champion an end-to-end process improvement approach to adjust ways of working as needed
- Understand consumer needs & marketplace from available data and is able to link plan with market trends
- Demonstrate industry and market trends as value; think beyond prescribed solution to improve business outcomes
- Design compelling communications that articulate the story and insights with a clear summary of the main ideas
Together with the Marketplace Unit (MPU) and Consumer Assortment Planning (AP) teams you will be part of the EMEA E2E squad which drives the several EMEA MPU and Gender MFP plans. Next, you will extensively connect with the other planners within AP to get to the right consumer demand plans while driving an efficient process. You will collaborate with AP, Merchandising, MCP, Analytics and Finance to build short and long term financial plans.


- Passionate and knowledgeable about Football
- 3+ years of experience in planning for Demand, Retail, Merchandise, Operations, Finance, or Sales
- With a consistent track record, strong consumer demand, retail math's, financial planning, inventory planning and reporting skills
- Demonstrate a very good understanding of Omnichannel Retail and coordinated market place planning strategy, as well as a confirmed understanding of process-flow through end-to-end supply chains
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage efficiently with a broad range of audiences including retail partner, senior business leaders, other senior planning leaders, and highly technical talents
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- A strategic outlook and shown experience leading projects and cross-functional teams, with a track record of overcoming obstacles and challenges to meet business expectations
- A self-starter mentality and eagerness to drive and own end to end communication with results driven, forward thinking and proficient information seeking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to network, utilize internal and external resources, deliver commitments, and to meet timelines
- Excellent knowledge of automated planning systems, MS Windows applications, particularly Excel
