Demand and Supply Management (DSM), we serve the Nike planning function combining insights and analytics to sense and craft how much product consumers will want, where and when they'll want it. This offense combines work in the Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP) and Assortment Planning sub functions to support a more detailed and flexible approach to serve consumers and drive inventory efficiency for NIKE and our partners.
In this role, you will be focused on serving our Inline Stores (NSO/NSP) Market Place Unit (MPU) performing MFP processes and analysis for an efficient Merchandise Financial Plan by ensuring efficient in-season trade & aligned commercial calendar with marketplace needs.
- Execute the Consumer Code multi season process through the lenses of Merchandise Financial Plan for Nike Inline Stores MPU
- Pre-season: Determine top-down financial business targets, (driving sales, margin, receipts, and inventory), across our Consumer Construct (Brand, Gender, Segment and Division) to inform Franchise/Style plans, Financial Forecasts and E2E Inventory Forecasts
- Pre-season: Closely collaborate with Assortment Planning to capture market demand in top line financials to represent best of Nike in inline stores.
- Pre-season: Support key seasonal brand & membership & O2O & product stories relevant for the MPU through aligned planning
- In-season: Coordinate in-season trade process ensuring x-functional alignment and actions to drive and deliver financial targets
- In-season: Lead trade structure and be to go person for weekly read & react meeting to orchestrate cross functional teams to drive actions in new consumer construct.
- Leading Commercial Calendar for Inline Stores and be to go person for Membership & O2O & Digital Platforms teams to drive member-gated & omni-channel consumer offense
- Closely collaborate with Finance team during monthly forecasting cycles, focusing on bringing accuracy to our G2Net plans and owning RSV to Net Ship items
- Champion an end-to-end process improvement approach to adjust ways of working as needed
You will work closely with other Nike DSM functions such as Assortment Planning and Allocation teams and across the broader cross-functional organization including partnering with the Central MFP Team, MPO, Finance, Brand, O2O, Membership, Digital Platform Teams, Merchandising and others to deliver top-down financial business targets both pre-season and in-season. Your focus is to drive trade-off actions to drive consumer demand, margin and optimize inventory health.


- 4+ years of experience in Demand and/or Retail Merchandising/Planning areas
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities
- Design compelling communications that articulate the story and insights with a clear summary of the main ideas
- Strong command of Retail metrics including Retail Sales, ST%, WOS, Inventories (marketplace + DC), Revenue and Margin with the ability to manipulate data for efficient outcome
- Ability to collate and understand relevant market data that integrates and advises the Merchandise Financial Plan; assessing risk and solving problems to deliver business results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage efficiently with a broad range of audiences including senior business leaders, other senior planning leaders, and highly technical talents
- A strategic outlook and shown experience leading projects and cross-functional teams, with a track record of overcoming obstacles and challenges to meet business expectations
- A self-starter mentality and be eager to drive and own end to end communication with results driven, forward thinking and proficient information seeking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to network, utilize internal and external resources, deliver commitments, and to meet timelines
- Excellent knowledge of automated planning systems, MS Windows applications, particularly Excel
