Reporting to the Director of eCommerce, the Senior Manager eCom will collaborate with cross-functional partners to manage and coordinate all aspects of the e-commerce business, including business strategy and planning, site design and merchandising, digital marketing efforts, and technological development. The role will have direct responsibility for Northern Europe, as well as managing a team of two eCom mangers, who are responsible for Southern and Western Europe.
- Take ownership on all things e-commerce for Foot Locker Europe.
- Own the holistic digital calendar setting out the site focus based on marketing calendar and both local and global trade opportunities.
- Brief the trade calendar to Digital Merchandising, Digital Marketing and any other relevant teams.
- Ownership over the planning of campaigns and promotions, as well as the 'go to person' throughout the events.
- Run and analyze complex sales reports and present opportunities to various business functions with recommendations based on data.
- Identify gaps and opportunities in the local market, and define a strategic plan to grow Digital penetration.
- Align product strategy, technology and marketing with digital initiatives to grow online and mobile commerce and capabilities.
- Monitor the site on daily basis, to ensure Quality Assurance for the local sites.
- Work with cross-functional, cross-channel teams to drive prioritized initiatives from strategy creation through proof-of-concept phases. Participate in pilots, rollouts and implementations on an as-needed basis.
- Work closely with key stake holders to align on business opportunities and priorities.
- Develop strong relationship with the vendor, creating a two-way value add partnership.
- Leverages BI analytics to find new opportunities.
- Leverage data to understand performance of campaigns and customer interaction on the site to optimize the experience-make suggestions to improve performance and identify business opportunities both locally across all Europe sites.
- Drive the Digital agenda, identifying future developmental needs and developing a regional roadmap.
- Utilize the ability to influence others in presenting country strategies to a broad audience.
- Stay on top of latest industry trends.
- Navigate the matrix environment and work cross-functionally with Buyers, Marketing and IT, as well as external branded counterparts.


- 5+ years e-commerce, merchandising, buying, planning, digital operations or related field experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in business or marketing concentration.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiastic, motivated, innovative, creative team player, ability to work cross-functionally.
- Must have thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication, organization, self-starter and analytical experience.
- Understanding of retail industry, including merchandising, marketing and IT.
- Strong project-management skills.
- Experience managing a team.
